Type Approval legislation for replacement catalytic converters (R103) has now been passed and is effective from August 13th 2009.

R103 is a statutory requirement covering the supply, sale and installation of replacement Catalytic Converters and affects Manufacturers, Importers and Distributors of this product.

From 13th August 2009, Cats2u will only supply Type Approved catalytic converters for vehicles first registered on or after 1st March 2001. Vehicles registered before March 2001 will not be affected by this legislation so both standard and type approved product can be supplied and installed as normal.
